Victorian Dealer, Horizon Pools took home two gold awards at the recent 2017 Swimming Pool and Spa Association Awards of Excellence. Horizon Pools have been a valued partner of Aquatic Leisure Technologies for six years, and have been a prominent pool installer in the Melbourne region.

Horizon Pools were awarded gold for the Best Residential Fibreglass, Acrylic or Vinyl-Lined Lap Pool with a stunning install in West Geelong. The project presented an extremely narrow and long space tucked away next to a brick wall and proposed garage structure. Facing challenges with the house falling under a Heritage Overlay and the complexity of existing structures in close proximity to the pool location, Horizon Pools successfully installed the Ultimo Lap Pool to take home gold.

The installation of the Caprice pool model in an ultra-modern contemporary home was presented gold in the Best Residential Fibreglass Pool $40,000 – $60,000 category. The client’s vision was to incorporate a sophisticated and modern pool that would effortlessly compliment the dark modern tones and feature timber used on the home. The result was the Aqua Technics Caprice 8.4m x 3.4m pool in Black Coral with Pool Colour Guard.

Horizon Pools were also highly commended in the Best Residential Concrete Pool – Under $50,000.
